The Trident LMG‑M by Krytac is an updated evolution of the highly successful and widely recognized AR‑15/LMG hybrid replica. The newer “‑M” version replaces the previous Keymod slots with the modern M‑LOK interface and introduces several internal upgrades for greater durability, performance, and efficiency. The result is a lightweight yet extremely capable support-platform designed for both maneuverability and fire superiority.

The LMG‑M is manufactured using modern casting and CNC machining technologies. The upper and lower receivers, as well as the barrel assembly, are produced from durable metal alloys. The lightweight free‑float handguard is CNC‑machined from high‑grade aluminum.  All external components feature a matte black, scratch‑resistant, anti‑reflective coating that protects the replica from field wear, rough handling, and weather exposure.

Smaller elements such as takedown pins, sling QD points, and various surface hardware components are machined from steel, ensuring long-term durability and robustness. Only the pistol grip, stock, and magazine are made from reinforced polymer, providing low weight while remaining highly durable.

The LMG‑M utilizes a standard AR‑15 lower receiver, offering ergonomic familiarity and broad aftermarket compatibility. The replica accepts both AR‑15 pattern magazines and dedicated high‑capacity box magazines, making it suitable for roles ranging from rifleman to support gunner.

The Trident LMG‑M features fully ambidextrous controls, including a selector switch and magazine release button. This ensures comfortable operation for both right‑ and left‑handed players — a critical advantage in fast‑paced, aggressive airsoft gameplay.

The upper receiver sets the LMG‑M apart from standard rifles. Inspired by MCR-style machine gun receivers, it includes a left‑side charging handle and a hinged top cover secured by a spring-loaded button. The top cover features a Picatinny rail for mounting optics.  A 406 mm aluminum outer barrel houses a 416 mm precision inner barrel (6.03 mm). The barrel ends with a birdcage‑type flash hider mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread.

The low‑profile collapsible stock is designed for comfort and adaptability, with an anti‑slip rubber pad and QD sling mounting points. Its adjustable length makes it easy to tailor the rifle to different user builds and preferences.

At the front, the replica features a high‑quality free‑float aluminum handguard offering eleven M‑LOK attachment slots:  • 3 each at 9, 12, and 3 o’clock  • 2 at 6 o’clock  Additionally, a two‑slot Picatinny rail segment is mounted on the gas block.  Together with the long RIS top rail, this provides exceptional accessory compatibility for optics, grips, lasers, lights, and tactical equipment.

At the core of the LMG‑M lies a reinforced Nautilus V2 gearbox (Gate Titan-ready), featuring:  • 8 mm high‑performance bearings  • Ported full‑metal piston  • High‑torque motor  • Quick‑spring‑change system  The rotary hop‑up unit stabilizes BBs efficiently, improving range, precision, and consistency under sustained fire.

The upgraded electronic system includes an enhanced FET with active braking, low‑battery detection, and an e‑trigger with micro‑switch. These systems deliver crisp trigger response, reduced power draw, and robust electrical protection.
