The KRISS Vector, manufactured by Krytac, is an officially licensed replica of one of the most unusual and distinctive submachine guns developed in recent years.  The real firearm uses the innovative “Super V” system, which redirects recoil energy downward rather than backward, minimizing muzzle climb and perceived recoil.

The first‑generation real KRISS Vector was designed in 2006 and refined in 2007. The second generation was introduced during the 2011 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. One of the major improvements is the redesigned lower receiver, which allows quick caliber changes via takedown pins, enabling fast swaps between 9×19 mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP receivers.
The Super V system lets the bolt and inertia block move downward into a cavity behind the magazine—this redirection significantly stabilizes the weapon, and the barrel is aligned directly with the shooter’s shoulder and hand for even further recoil reduction.

Just like the real counterpart, the replica’s body, stock, and most external components are injection‑molded from high‑quality, fiber‑reinforced polymer.  The outer barrel, Picatinny segments, charging handle, and other external parts are molded, cast, or CNC‑machined from metal.  Both receivers are mounted on an internal aluminum skeleton frame and feature a split design, allowing easy access to the internals.

The lower receiver integrates the magwell and the mock recoil‑mitigation system from the original firearm.  The available internal space is used to house the custom V2 gearbox designed specifically for this platform.

The integrated handguard features Picatinny rails on the top, bottom, and sides.  The side rail is removable and can be swapped from left to right depending on user preference or mission requirements, allowing excellent customization options.

The upper receiver includes a fixed pistol grip (with battery space), a right‑side folding stock, and a long Picatinny top rail.  Ambidextrous safety levers and selectors ensure comfortable use for both left‑ and right‑handed players.  The folding stock features a lowered buttpad, offering improved comfort and sight alignment despite the compact design.

At the heart of the replica lies a custom V2 gearbox producing approximately **345 FPS / 1.1 J** with 0.20 g BBs.  Like its S‑AEG counterpart, this version fires in **semi‑automatic mode only**.  Controls placed on both sides make it ideal for ambidextrous users.  The outer barrel holds a 155 mm precision inner barrel.

Although the external shell is dedicated to this specific platform, most internal components remain compatible with standard V2 parts, making upgrades and tuning straightforward.  The adjustable hop‑up unit stabilizes BBs effectively, improving range, accuracy, and shot consistency.
