The CM040I is a **modernized platform featuring a retractable stock and compact barrel**, making it perfectly suited for dynamic CQB situations as well as close‑ and mid‑range field engagements.

Constructed from **steel, aluminium and high‑quality ABS polymer**, the replica is supplied with an aluminium handguard, a retractable stock and a matching polymer magazine.  The barrel features a **14 mm CCW thread**, supporting a wide range of muzzle devices, tracer units and mock suppressors.

Key structural components — including the receiver, flash hider, trigger guard and dust cover — are machined from steel, giving the replica a realistic weight and outstanding durability.  The outer barrel, handguard, gas tube, gas block and sights are manufactured from a strong aluminium alloy.  The handguard includes **Picatinny rails** for mounting optics, grips, flashlights, lasers and other accessories.

Thanks to the retractable stock, the CM040I can be quickly adjusted to the player’s needs while remaining easy to transport and store.  The only external polymer components are the pistol grip, stock body and magazine — all made from reinforced ABS polymer.

Internally, a reinforced **V3 gearbox** ensures reliable and stable operation and provides an excellent base for future upgrades or custom modifications.  This makes the CM040I a durable, versatile and adaptable platform suitable for a wide range of playstyles.
